BSS Industrial teams up with Corus to offer INSTALL+

Customers of leading supplier of pipeline and heating solutions, BSS Industrial, now have access to INSTALL+ from Corus – the only conveyance tube on the market which meets both the European Construction Products Directive (CPD) and European Pressure Equipment Directive (PED).

One of the key benefits of INSTALL+ is that the mechanical properties of the product are guaranteed by Corus Tubes over a wide temperature range - something that cannot be offered by standard conveyance tubes. INSTALL+ is dual certified to both BS EN 10255 and BS EN 10217-1. It is also certified as meeting the elevated temperature requirements specified within Table 5 of BS EN 10217-2, so for the first time a single product can be successfully used for a range of applications at temperatures up to and including 260ºC. Traditionally, conveyance tubes have only been supplied in accordance with CPD requirements but they are often used in applications where the PED also has to be taken into account. Failure to meet PED requirements may mean having to replace any non-compliant products before an appointed inspection body will sign off a project.
