Drainage Expert Strengthens BSS Offering

BSS Industrial has appointed Scott Argent as Business Development Manager for Drainage – strengthening the Company’s newly formed specialist brand.

BSS Industrial launched its drainage offering in 2008 with the opening of facilities at BSS Chessington. Scott, who is tasked with focusing on the London and South East Region, will now assist with the continued branch roll out programme across the region building on experience gained as Regional Key Accounts Manager for Wolseley Drain Center. 

Commenting on his appointment, Scott said: “I’ve been overwhelmed by the enthusiasm of the BSS Industrial staff, as the whole team continues to develop this specialist brand through extensive training and excellent customer relationships. It’s this attitude which has made BSS Chessington a success and has allowed us to look ahead to new developments including a dedicated product guide.”

“With a solid foundation now achieved, I’m looking forward to developing the specialist brand further and offering customers a complete service package.”

BSS Industrial will continue to develop stand alone branches whilst extending the range in some existing branches over the forthcoming months. A dedicated branch in Canning Town is due to open in June 2009 with Smethwick branch being the next to come on line in May. The leading distributor plans to maximise opportunities whenever possible to allow it to diversify what it offers, thereby strengthening the business and the range of services it provides.
